These include airports that fly to travel destinations where travelers are obligated to provide negative proof of negative coronavirus test result taken in the past 72 hours. It’s important not to confuse the COVID-19 test for travel with other COVID-19 tests, such as the antibody test or rapid COVID-19 test. The COVID-19 test for travel has been granted EUA (emergency use authorization) by the FDA and is known as a NAAT (nucleic acid amplification test).
